Must be neat, clean and have a professional appearance and practices good hygiene. The applicant must be 21 years of age or older and have a Nevada Gaming License in order to qualify. After the dealer has been hired, they’ll discuss the schedule since schedule preferences are not guaranteed. Dealers are expected to work 40 hours or more per week. Normally dealers work more than 8 hours a day and up to 6 days a week. Overtime and extended schedules are common due to the nature of this event. The World Series of Poker is a 24 hour tournament and all shifts need to be filled. New WSOP dealers will receive their schedule on the day of orientation, which is mandatory and held on a Sunday, 3 days before the tournament starts. If you wish to return on a yearly basis, you must fill out a new application every time, however if you successfully completed at least one full year of employment as a WSOP deal in the past 3 years, then you’re not required to pass a second audition.
